Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant. The rooms were simple and dated but clean, providing everything needed for a comfortable short stay. However, the vibrating noise until early morning was a downside, and our room had a few maintenance issues. The service was fantastic and very friendly overall. The location was convenient, close to the lively Sheffield nightlife and within walking distance of pubs and interesting artwork. The dining experience was adequate, but some dishes were not up to standard. The facilities were sufficient, but there were a few small inconveniences.
The hotel is situated in a central location, close to the city centre and the university, making it convenient for various needs. The rooms, although quiet and relatively small, had a persistent issue of vibrating from 11:00 PM to 4:00 AM due to the noise from the DJs below. The service was exceptional, with incredibly friendly and helpful staff who even offered apologies for the noise disturbance and promised future improvements. The dining experience was satisfying with delicious meals served promptly. However, the noise from the DJ area impacted the overall stay negatively, making it less than ideal for a peaceful night's rest.
The hotel's rooms were very cute but in a sorry state. While the standard was good, they were pretty dirty with an unemptied bin. The service was pleasant, but there weren't enough staff members present, except for upfront transactions. The location is excellent, being convenient for transportation and near the city center. The smell of stale beer in the bar was overpowering, yet it is close to the University.
The hotel had spacious rooms with plenty of tea and coffee facilities, kept clean, and met my basic needs. However, the room was very shabby with heavily stained carpet, a missing wardrobe door, and ripped, stained chair seat fabric.
The hotel is conveniently located close to the city center and Sheffield University, offering a good spot for exploring. While the rooms were spacious, they felt outdated and could be noisy due to single-glazed windows. The limited service staff were friendly but not always readily available. The dining options were average, but the location was ideal for accessing nearby amenities.
